               From the best authors in the world, both ancient and modern; edited by Clyde Francis Lytle. Gold

               edging along 3 sides. Inside covers and facing pages are in gold. The clearly written pages are

               tightly bound together and then fastened between the two covers with a unique shoestring-type

               binding. The Coslett Publishing Company, Williamsport, PA.  Very good condition.                            $19.

The Playbill for The Broadhurst Theatre in N.Y.C. - (1942)

               "Uncle Harry: a new play by Thomas Job", starring Eva Le Gallienne and Joseph Schildkraut (and

               Karl Malden as Ben). Date on inside says "Beginning Monday, June 15, 1942".  Very good condition;

               not folded or written on or in; only some light age marks along the back cover edge with an even

               lesser amount along the front cover edge. Comes in a clear plastic sleeve with backing.                $21.

 

The Playbill for The Cort Theatre in N.Y.C. - (1940)

               "The Male Animal by James Thurber and Elliott Nugent".  Date on the inside says "Beginning Monday 

               evening, June 17, 1940".  Not written on or in.  Good condition.  Comes in a clear plastic sleeve with

               backing.                                                                                                                                                               $23.                                                                                                                        

The Reader's Digest Country and Western Songbook - (1983)  0-89577-147-0

               This big (12.3" H x 9.8" W) songbook has 252 pages. Pages contain the music sheets with words for

               95 songs in 8 categories: Hank Williams Hits, New Country Classics, Country Hits of the '60s, Country

               Hits of the '50s, Golden Memories of the '40s, Western Classics, All-Time Old-Time Favorites, and The

               Touch of God's Hand.  Within the hardback covers, the pages are held spiral-bound so the book can

               lay flat for reading the notes while playing an instrument. An additional 24-page booklet is included

               which contains the words to all the songs. Very good condition.                                                              $20.

 

Santa Claus Land  Art Print - (1946)

               An 18.6" x 12.5"  old time child's print still suitable for framing. It shows Little Boy Blue, Jack and Jill,

               Mary (Mary) Quite Contrary, Little Miss Muffet, Humpty Dumpty,  Wynken, Blynken, and Nod,  Jack and

               the Beanstalk, Little Bo Peep, The Crooked Man, Rub-a-Dub-Dub Three Men in a Tub, and Little Red

               Riding Hood (with the Wolf  hiding). Also shows Mother Goose and Santa Claus and their houses. In

               color, and illustrated in that old time, simpler way. Some rough edging, but in good condition. Comes

World War 2  "War Ration Book No. 3" - (1943)

               Has a beat-up look (it went through the war), had been written on and folded (it was being used),

               but it's still nicely held together and intact. Three full pages of 48 ration stamps each remain; a

               fourth page of 48 has 3 missing stamps. Issued by the U.S. Government Printing Office in 1943

               for use during World War 2.                                                                                                                               $23.
